Majority of Poles back EU army in face of Russian aggression, polls show

The poll results indicate that over 60% of the Poles surveyed support the idea. Specifically, 33.6% answered "definitely yes", and 26.9% said "rather yes".
Naturally, there are also opponents of this proposal within society. A response of "rather no" was selected by 13.9%, and "definitely no" by 18.1%. Another 7.5% of respondents were unsure how to answer the question.
Strong support within the ruling coalition
Significant support for this concept is seen among the voters of the governing coalition. 76% of Civic Coalition voters, 71% of those voting for The Left, and 64% of Third Way supporters are in favour of a joint European army.
However, among Third Way voters, there are the highest proportion of skeptics regarding the current government's coalitions. Indeed, 33% of the supporters of the alliance Poland 2050 and PSL are against the EU army.
Skeptics among the opposition voters
Supporters of Law and Justice are deeply divided over this proposal. While 43% of respondents see it as a good idea, 44% are opposed. Another 13% were undecided.
The majority of skeptics are found among the voters of Confederation, with as many as 85% rejecting the idea of a supranational European army. Only 15% are in favour.
