As Reuters reported, referencing the Metropolitan Police, an incident involving a "corrosive substance" in the city of London caused injuries to nine individuals. The event occurred on Wednesday evening in Clapham, which is located in the metropolis's southern part.

Nine individuals, including two minors, sustained injuries. According to the police report, "A woman and her two young children were among the victims and have been transported to the hospital for treatment."

In addition to these victims, three other adults received injuries that required medical attention, as did three police officers who sustained minor wounds. The London Fire Department announced, "Firefighters were deployed to a chemical incident on Lessar Avenue in Clapham this evening."

Specialized equipment was used at the location to identify the corrosive substance involved. The police have confirmed that, so far, no arrests related to the case have been made.

The following day, Abdul Shokoor Ezedi was identified as the suspect. British police highlighted that the online photo of the suspect was taken from a Tesco store where Ezedi had bought a bottle of water.

After completing his purchase, Ezedi exited the store and turned to the right. The photograph depicts Ezedi with potentially severe injuries to the right side of his face, making him quite recognizable.
