- Lithuania is ready to send troops to Ukraine to train our military and to simplify logistics, stated Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis.

Gabrielius Landsbergis stated in the Lithuanian parliament that he can refer to this similarly to French President Emmanuel Macron's words. Lithuania is ready to send its troops to conduct training for Ukrainian units. This would be a return to previous actions on Ukrainian territory.

He emphasized that they do not consider this a step towards escalation. It would not be a combat mission. The goal would be to conduct more effective training. It would also simplify logistics, as the units would train closer to where they are needed.

Landsbergis confirmed his words on the X platform as well. "We are ready" he wrote.
