Some goodbyes can be foreseen. When illness or age is a factor, it's easier to come to terms with the passing of loved ones or idols. It's much harder to accept the news of the death of someone young, well-liked, and healthy. Regardless of age, there are always questions about what might have been. Fans of Liam Payne will soon learn the answer to one aspect of the artist's future, thanks to his collaborator's efforts.
Liam Payne's final song to be released
According to artist Sam Pounds, before his unexpected death, Liam Payne was working on a song that was to be titled "Do No Wrong." The song was a collaboration with Sam Pounds and Liam's sister Ruth Gibbins. Although the One Direction member did not live to see the song's official release, its co-creator decided to share what is likely Payne's final work with fans.
When will the song "Do No Wrong" be released? Sam Pounds announced the official release date as 1 November 2024. For Polish fans, this date will be meaningful—it coincides with All Saints' Day in Poland, a time for remembering deceased loved ones.
Is Sam Pounds announcing the song's release?
Interestingly, "Do No Wrong" is already available on YouTube. Sam Pounds released the song on 22 October 2024, six days after the death of Liam Payne. In the video description, the singer wrote: "Dear fans let this song ring louder than the bad reports going out on Liam's name! Let's let the music win! This is what Liam would want. Spread the love and spread the music!" Therefore, whether the planned premiere will involve releasing the song on streaming services or if Sam Pounds plans to create a music video is unclear.
