Sergei Lavrov will go on a two-day visit to China. The talks are expected to cover "many hot topics," the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

Many reports by the Russian media or representatives of the authorities are elements of propaganda. Such reports are part of the information war waged by the Russian Federation.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is scheduled to visit China on April 7-8 (Greenwich Time) for an official visit, during which he will discuss several "hot topics" with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, including the issue of Ukraine - announced the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"A detailed exchange of views on several hot topics and regional issues is planned, including the crisis in Ukraine and the situation in the Asia-Pacific region," the statement said.

The conversation is also expected to cover the partnership between the countries, including within the UN or the BRICS organization.

Stoltenberg warns

"The alliance of authoritarian powers is tightening cooperation against Western democracies," warned NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview aired on Sunday for the British station BBC.

In an interview given this week on the occasion of NATO's 75th anniversary, Stoltenberg said that the world is now "much more dangerous, much more unpredictable, and much more brutal."

He said that the authoritarian alliance is increasingly harmonizing, providing each other with practical support, an example of which is China supporting the Russian war economy by providing key parts for the Russian defence industry or Russia sharing technologies with Iran and North Korea in exchange for ammunition and military equipment.

Stoltenberg argued that NATO must cooperate with countries outside its geographical area, such as Japan and South Korea, to "counter this growing authoritarian powers alliance."
