Kylian Mbappe is currently France's most prominent football star. The 25-year-old is heading towards a busy summer in 2024, a prospect President Emmanuel Macron eagerly anticipates.

Mbappe's stellar performance in the 2023/2024 season includes 46 appearances, 43 goals, and 10 assists for Paris Saint-Germain. He also plays a crucial role in the French national team, which is gearing up for significant challenges this summer.

Euro 2024 is set to begin in Germany on June 14, with the French squad, the Tricolours, competing in a group that includes the Polish national team. Mbappe will undoubtedly be a pivotal player for his team at the tournament.

In addition to the Euros, President Emmanuel Macron hopes that Mbappe will represent France in another significant event — the Olympic Games, set to take place in Paris from July 26 to August 11.

"I hope that Mbappe will play in the Olympics. In any case, I have put as much pressure as possible on his so-called future team," Macron expressed in an interview with RMC Sport.

By hinting at the "so-called future club" of Mbappe, Macron was alluding to Real Madrid, the club expected to be Mbappe's next destination after his announced departure from PSG.
However, Mbappe's potential move to Real Madrid introduces a predicament. Macron, alongside all of France, faces the challenge of persuading Real Madrid's president, Florentino Perez, to allow his players to join the Olympic tournament. Perez has been clear about his reluctance, considering the tournament's August conclusion overlaps with preseason preparations and the season's start.
It's important to note that for the Olympic football team, only three players of any age can participate, while the rest must be under 23 on the day the Olympics commence.
