Knife attack at Paris' Gare de Lyon train station leaves three injured
AFP reports that the assault occurred on Saturday around 7 AM Greenwich Time at the Gare de Lyon station in Paris. Three individuals were injured in the attack: two of them suffered minor injuries, while one is critically ill and has been rushed to the hospital.

The attacker was swiftly arrested by the police, and the motives behind this act of violence remain unclear.
Perpetrator now in police custody
The French television station BFM TV estimated that the attacker was identified by the police using an Italian driver's license.
- The suspect didn't shout any (religious) slogans during the attack, a police source informed AFP.
This incident has inevitably caused some delays in the train service on certain routes.
