Homemade cleaning products are affordable, effective, and easy to prepare. They are based exclusively on natural and widely available ingredients. Making homemade laundry detergent roughly costs about £3. For comparison, a package of laundry pods is at least £5.

The kitchen is one of the most contaminated places. Stains appear there in an instant. A single moment of inattention, and grease starts running down the stove. Dried grease hardens into a difficult-to-remove stain. Removing some contaminants almost seems miraculous. But there's a way to do it. You likely already have the necessary ingredients at home. They are coffee and nail varnish remover.

Coffee and nail varnish remover: this combination will remove any stain

Grease, dirt, coffee, food leftovers — it all settles on the stove, creating unsightly, hard-to-remove stains. The grease is the worst offender. Most detergents can't handle it. In some cases, it's necessary to purchase a professional degreaser.

Unfortunately, this product isn't among the most affordable, as a bottle costs roughly about £3. Do you want to save money? Prepare a homemade surface degreaser. You need two ingredients that you probably already have at home. They are coffee and nail varnish remover.

How to prepare it? It's extraordinarily straightforward. Prepare a small dish and a spray bottle. Pour a teaspoon of instant coffee into the dish, then add four tablespoons of boiling water. Mix thoroughly. Once the coffee is dissolved, pour in four tablespoons of nail varnish remover and three tablespoons of dish soap. Wait until the solution cools, then pour it into the spray bottle. Spray the stain with it and wait for three minutes. The combination of coffee and nail varnish remover will get rid of any stain.

If you don't have nail varnish remover, replace it with baking soda

Nail polish remover is based on acetone. If it's not available at home, you can replace it with baking soda, which possesses whitening, cleaning, and disinfecting properties. Mix baking soda with dissolved coffee and dish soap, then spray the solution onto the stained surface. Wait for five minutes, then wipe the surface with a sponge. The grease should come off easily.
