King Charles III shares heartfelt gratitude on Instagram amidst his battle with cancer
It is an established notion that we scarcely receive public information about the state of affairs in Buckingham Palace, regardless of the flurry of media reports. Members of the royal family don't typically voice out their private affairs. However, the exception seems to be King Charles III's cancer.

A public address about his illness by King Charles III
Last weekend, a statement posted by the King appeared on the royal family's official Instagram page. With his characteristic grace, Charles III expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of empathy and highlighted the contributions of medical bodies that aid cancer patients both domestically and globally.
"I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days.
As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.
It is equally heartening to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organisations which support cancer patients and their families across the UK and wider world. My lifelong admiration for their tireless care and dedication is all the greater as a result of my own personal experience"
Some may be curious about how King Charles' daily routine will be affected in the coming weeks. Insiders speaking to the Daily Mail offer some answers. While residing in Norfolk on his Sandringham estate, the King will reportedly be able to dedicate more time to his two passions - walking and watercolour painting. Furthermore, it is rumoured that Charles III, known as an avid music enthusiast, will definitely revisit his favourite album by Canadian singer Leonard Cohen, especially the song Take This Waltz, which he finds "very moving".
The hardest part for him will be coping with boredom, close friends of Charles have speculated, noting his reputation as a "workaholic king".
The King is expected to make a brief return to London shortly to consult with his doctors.
