Kefir: The summer refreshment that aids weight loss and digestion
I became convinced of this drink during the heat waves. Normally, I prefer milder natural yogurt, but when the temperature exceeds 30°C, it suddenly seems too heavy and thick. However, kefir works perfectly then, especially with additions.

Summer is a great time for weight loss because, with high temperatures, you don't feel like eating much. And when the desire for a small snack arises, you don't think about a biscuit or chocolate. You prefer something refreshing instead.
More refreshment, fewer pounds
So, even if you're not a fan of kefir like me, now is the time to give it a try. At the store, choose a natural product without added sugars and artificial flavors. It's also important that the kefir is fresh and stored in proper conditions; in this heat, only in the refrigerator!
Kefir is a fermented drink made from pasteurized milk. Kefir has slightly fewer calories than yogurt but more protein. These are important advantages when trying to lose weight. It also has probiotic effects due to the lactic acid bacteria it contains. They support intestinal functions and digestion. Kefir is also a rich source of calcium, phosphorus, selenium, zinc, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B12, and vitamin A. Additionally, it contains vitamin D.
A snack worth its weight in gold
How can kefir be turned into a light snack? Just blend it briefly with additions that will make a delicious cocktail. My favorites are cucumber and mint or melon. Such a snack has a great impact on digestion. This is thanks to the kefir itself, which contains beneficial probiotic bacteria, but also the additions. Cucumber provides a lot of fiber, which ensures a feeling of fullness. Melon is also a great source of fiber. It also contains plenty of water, which helps cleanse the body. Cocktails based on kefir with cucumber or melon help the body cleanse itself faster from metabolic waste products and speed up digestion.
