During the coverage of the second round of Champions League matches, Kate Abdo appeared in an elegant, sleeveless brown dress. Her outfit quickly became a topic of discussion among fans. On platform X, one of them wrote: "Wow! Kate Abdo."

Abdo, previously associated with "Sky Sports," hosts "CBS Sports" programmes alongside former football stars: Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, and Micah Richards. Their excellent on-screen chemistry results in funny and viral moments.

While discussing the prospects of the French club Brest in the Champions League, Henry remarked: "It's a big challenge," which caused laughter among his colleagues. Richards added: "I think it's a bit uneven," which increased the amusement. Abdo tried to maintain professionalism and continue the discussion, though she discreetly hid a smile.

In an interview with "The Sun," Kate Abdo emphasised the authenticity of their relationship: "These laughs are entirely genuine. We are so diverse, but we respect each other."

Will Abdo become the new fan idol?

Viewers can expect more excitement when Abdo returns to the screen in the coming days with Champions League coverage.

It is worth noting that she is followed by over 800,000 people on social media. That's more than another famous journalist, Laura Woods, who can boast 766,000 followers.
