Jennifer Lopez shines solo at 'Unstoppable' premiere without ben
Although Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are no longer a couple, they still work together and are currently promoting the film Unstoppable. During one of the interviews, the actor was asked about his former partner, and he summed her up in three words.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been a couple attracting media attention for years. Despite deciding to divorce, which took place in August, they continue to collaborate. At the premiere of the film "Unstoppable," produced by Affleck, only Lopez appeared, dazzling in a fashionable outfit. Critics praised her excellent appearance and confidence on the red carpet during such a challenging time as a divorce.
Though not present on the red carpet, Ben Affleck spoke with Entertainment Tonight about his latest film and the early reviews it received. He also compared it to his other film, "Small Things Like These," suggesting that even though both projects are different, they hold elements particularly close to him—especially the excellent cast. At one point, his wife's name was even mentioned.
Jennifer is spectacular, he enthused, adding that the film is another one he is truly proud of.
Jennifer Lopez also does not shy away from interviews. Unlike her husband, she addresses topics related to her private life. As she admitted, she has finally learned to appreciate herself.
I think my whole life I’ve just been trying to say I’m good enough, until where I am now, when I know. I’m giving myself credit," she said. "I’m telling that little girl that grew up in the Bronx, ‘You’ve done really good for yourself.’ I didn’t do that for so many years. And now I think, with everything that’s happened in my life and in my relationships and even in my career, it’s like, give yourself a bit of comfort and love. We’ve been through a lot of things that nobody knows about, and you’ve persevered and you refuse to give up and to let it get you down. There’s something to be said for that because things can really change your life in a way that you do want to give up and say, ‘Fuck this, this is too hard, I don’t want to do this anymore.’ But I’m not there. I refuse to not give myself everything that little girl deserves - she said in "Interview Magazine."
