The attempted attack on Donald Trump is causing quite a stir on the internet. Joe Biden personally contacted the candidate seeking re-election and the family of the man who was murdered. However, online voices say he was only a few centimetres away from luck. These individuals are referring to a fatal shot to Trump's head, which would have resulted in death. It turns out that not only anonymous people online support this theory. The guitarist, comedian, and actor Kyle Gass also supports it.
Jack Black cancels concert tour
The band Tenacious D was set to embark on a world tour. However, Jack Black has cancelled the remaining concerts. The words of guitarist Kyle Gass drive his decision. During a concert in Sydney, Australia, Gass received a cake for his 64th birthday. After receiving the cake, he was asked to make a wish. His words were reportedly: "Don't miss Trump next time."
In a statement published on Instagram, Jack Black wrote: "I was blindsided by what was said at the show on Sunday. I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form. After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold. I am grateful to the fans for their support and understanding."
Kyle Gass explains his behaviour
In response to Jack Black's decision, guitarist Kyle Gass also released an Instagram statement apologising for his behaviour. The actor, comedian, and a member of the band Tenacious D wrote: "The line I improvised onstage Sunday night in Sydney was highly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake. I don’t condone violence of any kind, in any form, against anyone. What happened was a tragedy, and I’m incredibly sorry for my severe lack of judgement. I profoundly apologise to those I’ve let down and truly regret any pain I’ve caused."
