In the city of Ramla, Israel, an accident occurred, injuring Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

A few days prior, in Ramla, there was a knife attack. Following this, Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the scene on Friday. During this visit, the car he was in collided with another vehicle.

A local police spokesperson told Walla.co in an interview that it's too premature to speculate on the cause. After interviewing witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage, we will update the public with our findings.

The spokesperson also noted that three people were injured in the event: Ben-Gvir, his daughter, and his bodyguard. All three were taken to the hospital, with the minister sustaining minor injuries.

Witnesses claim the minister's vehicle ran a red light at an intersection, leading to the collision.

Videos circulating online display the aftermath, showing two damaged vehicles. The impact was hefty enough to flip one of the vehicles onto its roof.
