Influencers constantly compete to create content to increase their reach and get people talking. It might seem that the leading principle of internet creators is "It doesn’t matter what they say, as long as they don't mispronounce the name." Without a doubt, IShowSpeed is one of these individuals who constantly surprises his fans and his critics. The streamer had barely escaped a fiery encounter with a robot dog, and now he's caused a crash.
IShowSpeed damaged a tuk-tuk
IShowSpeed is currently in Thailand, where he regularly streams. During his latest stream, the influencer decided to take the wheel of a tuk-tuk, a vehicle used for transporting people and goods. Tuk-tuks are very popular in Asia due to their small size and relatively high payload. Driving them, like all vehicles, requires skill and experience. The American streamer lacked both of these qualities.
A few seconds after starting the ride, IShowSpeed crashed at high speed into a stone pedestal on which a statue stood. The streamer immediately exited the vehicle, visibly shocked by the situation. After hiding his face, Speed turned to the camera, cursing and holding his sore forehead. Unknowingly, viewers might believe the crash was accidental. However, many think that the collision with the pedestal was staged.
Internet users criticise IShowSpeed
A stream fragment was shared on platform X, where it garnered many comments. One person wrote, "He's quite a good actor haha." Another user chimed in, "This was done for content." These suspicions are understandable: IShowSpeed fell off an elephant he was riding during the same trip. Believing in so many coincidences could be described as naive.
