A heating night in the Middle East. Iran launched over 100 kamikaze drones towards Israel on Saturday evening. The first reactions from the world to the attack are already coming in.

Iran launched dozens of kamikaze drones towards Israel - announced on Saturday late in the evening by the spokesperson of the Israeli military, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, in a special statement to the press. Just before 11 PM Greenwich Time, the first explosions were heard in Israel. Alarm sirens wailed in many towns.

However, before the first explosions were heard, the world started to voice its condemnation.

"I just met with my national security team for an update on Iran’s attacks against Israel. Our commitment to Israel’s security against threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad," - assured President of the USA, Joe Biden.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak condemned in a special statement "in the strongest terms" the dangerous attack by the Iranian regime on Israel. "Iran has once again demonstrated that it is intent to sowing chaos," - declared the Prime Minister.

"Iran's reckless attacks on Israel will only further inflame tensions in the Middle East. The UK calls on the Iranian regime to stop this serious escalation, which is in no one's interest," - posted on platform X the head of British diplomacy, David Cameron.

"France condemns in the strongest terms the Iranian attack on Israel. By deciding to take such an unprecedented action, Iran is taking a new step in its destabilizing actions and is taking the risk of a military escalation," - declared the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Stéphane Séjourné. "France confirms its commitment to Israel's security and assures its solidarity," - he added.

"The EU strongly condemns the unacceptable Iranian attack against Israel. This is an unprecedented escalation and a grave threat to regional security," - stated Josep Borrell, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

"Iran launched drones and missiles towards Israel. We strongly condemn the ongoing attack, which could plunge the entire region into chaos. Iran and its proxies must immediately cease this. In these hours, all our solidarity goes towards Israel," - declared the head of German diplomacy, Annalena Baerbock.

"I strongly condemn the serious escalation represented by the large-scale attack launched on Israel by Iran. I call for an immediate cessation of these hostilities. Neither the region nor the world can afford another war," - wrote on his profile on the platform X the Secretary-General of the UN, Antonio Guterres.
