Indila made her debut in 2014 with the album "Mini World," which brought her international fame. The track "Dernière danse" became a hit, with the accompanying music video viewed over a billion times on YouTube. In her work, the singer drew inspiration from various cultures, evident in both the lyrics and the musical arrangements that combine elements of pop, R'n'B, and world music.

After the enormous success of the album, Indila withdrew from public life for five years. As she explained in interviews, she needed this time to focus on personal matters.

I understand that such a decision might be surprising. For me, music is sound and silence. During this silence, I had to withdraw from the media scene. At that moment, I made room for what is most important - she said in 2019 on "Good Morning TVN," and shortly afterwards, she appeared on "The Voice of Poland."

The artist announced a second album, but it never saw the light of day. Currently, she rarely engages in musical activities. In 2021, she guest-voiced in a song by Amir, a French-Israeli artist. At the beginning of 2023, she also appeared in a song on singer Zaho's album.

Indila also removed all photos from her Instagram profile, which is followed by over 314,000 people.
