Kristina Joksimowić was found dead in her home in Binningen near Basel, Switzerland. Terrifying details of this crime from February this year have now come to light.

The death of 38-year-old Kristina Joksimowić, who was brutally murdered, greatly shocked the public. Her husband confessed to strangling her.

Her husband Thomas was arrested the day after Kristina's body remains were found. During interrogations, he claimed he killed his wife "in panic" when she approached him with a knife, asserting that he acted in self-defence. However, the medical court report "contradicts his description of self-defence".

On Wednesday, 11 September, the Federal Court in Lausanne rejected the 41-year-old man's appeal for release from custody.
