Quick pickles are simple to prepare. The key here is using fresh cucumbers. They should be firm and juicy. Besides cucumbers, you also need dill flowers, horseradish root, garlic heads, and oak or currant leaves. What about the salt? The type of salt is crucial here. The best would be rock salt or Himalayan salt.

Tomasz Strzelczyk, a participant in the show "Masterchef", demonstrated on his ODDASZFARTUCHA channel how to prepare quick pickles using the "dry" method. How to do it? Start by thoroughly washing the cucumbers in cold water. After washing, dry them with a clean paper towel and remove the ends.

Take plastic bags (e.g., zipper or baking bags) and place the cucumbers with chopped dill and garlic in them. Add a tablespoon of salt and a pinch of coarsely ground pepper. The YouTuber skipped horseradish and added a bit of chilli, but it's unnecessary.
