If you are as much of a sweets lover as I am, you will surely agree with me that there are never too many interesting, original, and, above all, tried-and-true recipes for homemade sweets. That's why I often experiment in the kitchen to create new and interesting recipes.

It was no different the last time when I decided to make a quick, no-bake dessert based on chocolate and coconut. And as it turned out, the task was pure pleasure, which even the biggest culinary novice can handle without any problem. The fail-safe dessert comes out perfectly every time. So, from the very start, success is guaranteed. This dessert works great after Sunday lunch and as a quick snack in the middle of the week when we suddenly crave something sweet. At the same time, the chocolate-coconut bowls will be perfect for all kinds of celebrations — birthdays, name days, or anniversaries. Guests will surely be delighted!

The delicious chocolate-coconut dessert is called the Bowl of Happiness for a reason. It is so good that you simply need nothing more to be happy

Ingredients:

First layer:

  • 4 crushed rice cakes,
  • 200 grams Greek yoghurt,
  • 50 grams shredded coconut,
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar.

Topping:

  • 100 grams dark chocolate,
  • coconut bars for decoration.

Preparation method:

Step 1. I started working on the recipe by preparing rice cakes, which need to be crushed into smaller pieces.

Step 2. I then add shredded coconut, Greek yoghurt, and vanilla sugar to the bowl with the cakes.

Step 3. I thoroughly mix the ingredients and then transfer the ready mix into colourful ramekins, creating the first layer of the dessert at the same time.

Step 4. Next, I melt the dark chocolate and spread it directly onto the mixture with the coconut hint.

Step 5. Finally, I add a piece of a coconut bar to each dish, then place the homemade desserts in the refrigerator to chill. They should spend at least 2 hours in the kitchen appliance.
