Helicopter crash in Pucol claims three lives; investigation underway
On Sunday, in the town of Pucol in the province of Valencia, Spain, a tragic helicopter crash occurred. Three people died, as reported by the Spanish gendarmerie (Guardia Civil).
The accident happened late in the morning in the rural areas of Pucol, located in eastern Spain.
The helicopter flew into high-voltage power lines and crashed to the ground. Police, fire services, and medical personnel quickly arrived at the scene.

The three-person helicopter crew died on the spot. According to media reports, the victims were members of the personnel responsible for maintaining the high-voltage power lines in the accident area.
The media report that although the helicopter crashed, it "did not catch fire".
However, the severed wires and the possibility of the fuel catching fire remain serious threats.
