Shortly thereafter, within less than two months, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, shared that she, too, is battling cancer. The Duchess has commenced treatment and has since been absent from public appearances.

According to recent statements, King Charles is anticipated to resume most of his official duties soon. Since then, Harry and Meghan have remained largely silent on the matter. This is quite unexpected, considering their previous eagerness to share insights into royal life, including candid interviews and Harry's autobiographical book detailing his royal experiences. Their current silence raises questions.
Experts in royal affairs from both the USA and the UK suggest that Harry and Meghan's value in the public eye largely hinges on their royal connections. However, their frosty relations with the royal family may have left them out of the loop.
"We understand that Harry and Meghan are now disconnected from the latest developments. They seem to be in the dark about Kate's health status and equally uninformed about the king's condition, leaving them with little to share with the media," Maureen Callahan remarked during a discussion with GBN America.
Despite speculation about a potential reconciliation between William and Harry amidst their father's illness, they have yet to find common ground.
