Tarnavsky underlined that "the Avdiivka defence operation continues". "Our soldiers keep destroying the invading army and diminishing the enemy's resources and reserves, which are being continuously thrown into the fray," he noted.
The general emphasized that "every inch of Ukrainian land is priceless, but our primary focus is on preserving the lives of our Ukrainian soldiers".
The situation in Avdiivka: a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
On Friday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detailed the troubling situation in the Avdiivka region. Over the most recent 24 hours, Russian troops have launched heavy-duty attacks, resulting in 33 encounters.
“In the area of Avdiivka, Ukrainian forces keep resisting the foe, who persistently tries to surround the city. Over the day, our troops repulsed 28 assaults by the invaders in the Avdiivka region and the town of Lastochkyne, along with five attempts near Pervomaiske and Nevelske,” the Staff recounted.
