Belarusian Hajun reported that an explosion occurred in the Homel region after 12:30 AM Greenwich Time. Homel is a Belarusian city located just about 50 kilometres from the borders with Russia and Ukraine.

Earlier, the Belarusian channel reported that two Russian Shahed drones flew into Belarusian territory from the Chernihiv region in Ukraine. At night, the Russians launched a massive attack on Ukraine with Shahed drones.

The channel reported that the Belarusian Air Force had scrambled two fighter jets stationed at the Baranovichi airfield earlier.

Telegram, the portal, published a video allegedly filmed at night in Homel. It shows a fiery trail in the sky from the shot-down drone.

"According to reports from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Belarusian Hajun project, this summer, Russian suicide bombers began raids on Belarus. The same project had already reported explosions of Russian drones in Belarus," stated the Russian portal ASTRA.
