On Saturday during an election rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, former US President Donald Trump was shot in the ear. Two people were killed in the attack, including the assailant, and two others were seriously injured. The Republican candidate's condition is good. After the failed assassination attempt, Trump sent an email to his supporters with a brief message. CNN reports its content.
"This is a message from Donald Trump," reads the email in capital letters. "I will never give up!" added Trump.
According to CNN, the message was accompanied by the former president's signature and portrait.
Earlier, Trump posted an official statement online after the failed attempt on his life. "I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear," he wrote on social media.
