Drone attack in St. Petersburg

Meanwhile, on Saturday morning, damage occurred to a residential block in St. Petersburg, located in the northwest of Russia, as reported by Russian sources.

Novaya Gazeta Europe reported that a drone hit the building. Meanwhile, the portal Ukrainian Truth reported that the damage to the building was the result of Russian anti-aircraft defense activities. The Mash channel reported that the drone attack, carrying an explosive load of approximately 3.5 kg, was carried out by the Ukrainian army.

Kyiv has not commented on the matter. A possible target of the attack could have been a fuel base, located about 1 km from the damaged building. The news service Meduza reported that as a result of this incident, six individuals sought medical assistance.
