After a stunning performance, the Three Lions have just secured a place in the Final. However, Gareth Southgate’s men reached the semi-final after particularly disappointing games. Experts were amazed at how a team with so many stars in its lineup and on the bench could play such a clunky and extremely unattractive style of football.
Massive complaints in the country and across Europe are primarily directed at the England team’s manager. Gareth Southgate is struggling with overwhelming criticism from fans, who cannot comprehend how, with a generation of players led by Kane, Saka, Rice, Foden, Bellingham, and several other football stars, such uninspired football can be played.
Disheartened fans found a momentary escape from the English team's poor performances in the previous games. A video from Dortmund is circulating on the internet. The recorded officer resembles England manager Gareth Southgate.
The video shared online shows the visibly embarrassed officer listening to the choral chants of English fans. The officer is surrounded by tipsy fans in England national team shirts. The group of men began to sing a chant in honour of Gareth Southgate: "You're the One." Who knows, maybe they brought luck for the team?

Fans are singing a parody of the song "Whole Again" by Atomic Kitten in front of the officer. The lyrics were specially adapted before the Euros – to the glory of Gareth Southgate. The girls from the Atomic Kitten group recorded this version of the song. It was released during Euro 2020, when England reached the final and only lost to Italy on penalties.
