In this recipe, tuna meets cream cheese and avocado, transforming into a delicious spread. All you need is a slice of good bread, and an ordinary breakfast becomes a true feast.
Creamy tuna sandwich spread
Tired of eating the same sandwiches? Tuna spread is a quick and easy way to diversify meals. Tuna is rich in vitamins and minerals such as vitamin D, selenium, and magnesium. This canned tuna-based spread is easy to make and full of nutritional value.
Ingredients:
- 250g cream cheese,
- 240g tuna in oil,
- 1 avocado,
- juice from 1 lime,
- 1 small red onion,
- 80ml chopped chives,
- 120ml almond flakes,
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard,
- salt and pepper to taste.
Preparation:
Step 1. Place the cream cheese, drained tuna, and avocado in a food processor. Squeeze the lime juice and blend the ingredients until smooth. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 2. Finely chop the onion and chives and add to the spread. Add the almond flakes, mustard, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3. Spread the mixture on a slice of fresh bread, toasted bread, or a roll. Sprinkle with chopped onion and chives. Enjoy!
