Egg cutlets – ingredients and preparation

Egg cutlets are an excellent way to use up boiled eggs. They can be a tasty meal with new potatoes or a delicious addition to sandwiches and salads. Here are the ingredients and how to prepare them.

Ingredients for egg cutlets:

  • 6 boiled eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons of mustard
  • 2 teaspoons of chives
  • 0.33 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 raw egg

Additionally:

  • 3.5 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of rapeseed oil

Preparation:

  1. Peel the boiled eggs and mash them with a fork in a bowl.
  2. Add the raw egg, breadcrumbs, mustard, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Form 4-5 cutlets from the egg mixture.
  4. Coat the cutlets in breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Serve warm with your favourite sides.
