The magazine named "Vogue" is also referred to as the "fashion bible" for a valid reason. Since 1892, the magazine has brought to life a total of 28 versions across the globe. Over the years, the magazine has become an authority that promotes fashion trends, featuring the biggest stars of the runways and the entertainment industry on its covers. Although "Vogue" is predominantly associated with the editor-in-chief of the American edition, Anna Wintour, other editions can boast equally iconic "faces." A prominent figure associated with the magazine recently decided to say goodbye to the title in an unforgettable manner.

"British Vogue" editorial leader says final goodbye to the magazine with a historic cover reveal

In June of the previous year, Edward Enninful, the then editor-in-chief of "British Vogue," announced his decision to leave the magazine for a different role in publishing at media company Conde Nast. As the first male and black person to hold this position, the 51-year-old has led the editorial team since 2017. The March issue of British "Vogue" will be the last under Enninful's stewardship. On Thursday, the exceptional cover via which the editor-in-chief has decided to bid his readers and the magazine farewell was posted online.

For his final cover with the "British Vogue", Edward Enninful assembled a large gathering of 40 iconic stars from the world of fashion and entertainment. This memorable photograph, featuring celebrities from the fashion industry and entertainment world, is destined to be remembered in the annals of the magazine’s history. The portrait, expertly captured by Steven Meisel, features faces known from red carpets and previous magazine covers, including modelling legends such as Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell, along with rising stars like Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk, and Cara Delevigne.

Don't forget to check out the March cover of British "Vogue", which also includes well-known personalities from film, music, and television such as Jane Fonda, Victoria Beckham, Miley Cyrus, Oprah, Serena Williams, Salma Hayek, Selma Blair, and Dua Lipa. The cover also presents the next generation of models, Kaia Gerber and Lila-Grace Moss.

"When the initial idea was conceptualized, one question arose: Is it practically possible to bring together the 40 most engaged and sought-after women around the world in a single Manhattan studio and take a group photograph? Spoiler: mission accomplished. It seemed as if they appeared from a dream. Indeed, who else but Edward could have assembled such a talented mix of individuals from the worlds of fashion, Hollywood, and more?" - the magazine's Instagram profile mentioned.

Several photos from this star-studded photoshoot have been uploaded on the magazine's official Instagram profile. Among the published images, you can catch a glimpse of Jane Fonda posing with Serena Williams and Selma Blair, Victoria Beckham with Christy Turlington and Kate Moss, and Salma Hayek sharing a moment with Linda Evangelista. The magazine also shared a visual recording showcasing all the celebrities assembled together for this monumental cover shot. The retiring Enninful also proudly displayed the results of his hard work on the farewell cover online.

"I was determined that the cover would be dedicated to women. From the outset, it was clear to us that a single individual should not embody the journey of this magazine over the last few years. We needed a collective, a representation of a multitude of remarkable women, to truly exemplify what I hope has been a resolute, innovative, and transformational period in the history of "Vogue"," Enninful wrote in his article with the magazine.
