Diego Costa is a Spanish footballer of Brazilian descent, as he was born in that country. In Europe, he played for many clubs, but fans most remember his performances for Atletico Madrid and Chelsea FC.

Last season, the striker represented Botafogo Rio de Janeiro. However, in February 2024, he decided to change clubs and plays for Grêmio Porto Alegre. Nevertheless, the 35-year-old cannot be happy due to health issues.

These issues led to Costa's recent return to play in Grêmio's reserves. The match against Juventude B ended disastrously for him, and his terrible behaviour has once again made headlines worldwide.

Despite competing against young players, the Spaniard could not maintain his temper. In the 53rd minute, one of the opponents fouled Costa, and he lost his cool. After the referee stopped the game, Costa charged towards him to such an extent.

The 35-year-old first grabbed the opposing team's player and then... held him by the throat. Players from Juventude B and the referee immediately rushed towards the pair. After the commotion settled and the players were separated, the referee sent Costa off the field.

Such behaviour could cause the Spaniard a lot of problems. It’s hard to believe that he has brought himself closer to playing in Grêmio's first team when he can't control his temper in a match against young players.
