For the past fortnight, the whole world has been anxiously awaiting new information regarding Diddy, who has been charged with extortion, sex trafficking, and involvement in organising the transport of young women forced into prostitution. During a search of his home, 1,000 bottles of baby oil were found, allegedly used as a lubricant during hours-long orgies.
According to the 14-page indictment, Sean "Diddy" Combs has been violent, abusive, and aggressive towards women for many years. He now faces potential life imprisonment.
"People" magazine reported that Combs was placed under special supervision as a preventive measure after being arrested. This was due to his state immediately after being detained and uncertainties about his mental health. It is possible he had suicidal thoughts. Currently, the rapper is awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center. As reported by "People", in recent days, his family visited him, and he is no longer under supervision.
Diddy is focused on the trial
Combs' lawyer spoke, informing "People" magazine that his client is now focused on the trial, which is expected to take place in early October, as he wants to tell his side of the story.
He is focused and very strong. He is concentrating on his defence and preparing for his trial - the rapper's lawyer said.
According to media reports, Combs' lawyers proposed a bail of £41 million after the arrest, but the judge rejected the offer.
