Winter detox soup - recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 onion,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- a small piece of fresh ginger (about 2 cm),
- 1 large carrot,
- 1 red bell pepper,
- 236 ml of cauliflower florets,
- 236 ml of broccoli florets,
- 236 ml of green peas,
- 236 ml of cherry tomatoes,
- 50 g of mushrooms,
- 30 g of spinach,
- oil,
- chili powder,
- pepper.
Preparation:
- Peel the onion and chop it into small cubes. Crush the garlic through a press.
- Use a pot with a thick bottom and add a small amount of canola oil. Heat it up and sauté the onion. When it has browned slightly, add the garlic and grated ginger.
- Add about 500 ml of water to the pot and then add the carrot. Simmer everything for 15 minutes.
- After the allocated time, add the cauliflower, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, spinach, and the diced bell pepper and mushrooms. Continue cooking until all the ingredients soften.
- Stir in the pepper and chili towards the end of the cooking process.
