Demi Moore has shared the latest update on the health of her former husband, Bruce Willis. The actor has been diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. What is his condition today?

Demi Moore attended the Hamptons Film Festival, where she was honoured for her acting achievements. During a live panel, she was asked the question that concerns all fans of the beloved actor: What is Bruce Willis's condition?

As reported by the "Daily Mail", the actress emphasised: "You know, I've said this before: the disease is what it is. And I think you really have to accept what it is deeply. You have to accept what is happening," Moore stated before the festival audience. "But at the stage he is at, his condition is stable," she added.

At the same time, the star of "The Substance" and "Indecent Proposal" discussed approaching such a difficult topic as the slow departure of someone you once knew.

"You have to 'meet' them where they are. When you hold on to what was, I think it's a losing game," she added, speaking about the "Die Hard" star. "But when you show up to meet them where they are, there is great beauty and sweetness in that."

The marriage of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore

Moore and Willis were married for 13 years, and from their union, three daughters were born: Rumer (aged 36), Scout (aged 33), and Tallulah (aged 30). Despite divorcing in 2000, the couple maintained a close relationship for years and co-parented their children. After the divorce, Bruce married Emma Heming, with whom he has two daughters: Mabel (aged 12) and Evelyn (aged 10). Demi Moore was involved with Ashton Kutcher for some time.

The actress recently took a role in the acclaimed body horror "The Substance," which premiered in September 2023. Among her co-stars in the film are Margaret Qualley and Dennis Quaid.

Bruce Willis in "Pulp Fiction" - the unforgettable Butch

Bruce Willis is forever etched in film history thanks to several roles. These certainly include his performances in the "Die Hard" series and "The Sixth Sense." However, the most acclaimed role in Willis's career was that of Butch in "Pulp Fiction," the paid boxer who crossed the mob.

"Zed is dead," or "make medieval history out of someone," are iconic phrases spoken by Willis, who at the end of the film rides off into the sunset on a motorcycle. The film, which turned 30 this year, won the Palme d'Or at Cannes (it "beat" Kieślowski's film "Red"). It is still considered one of the best films in cinema history, and certainly in Quentin Tarantino's filmography. John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, and Bruce Willis never starred in anything as great again. "Pulp Fiction" was nominated for an Oscar in seven categories, winning one statue for Best Original Screenplay. The film is available to watch on SkyShowtime and Netflix.
