Deadly siege in Moscow: 40 killed, 100 injured in concert hall attack
Russian media report a horrific shooting that resulted in at least 40 people dead and around 100 injured. It occurred at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in northwest Moscow. The shooting occurred just before a concert by the band Picnic. The concert hall at Crocus City Hall was packed. Special services were among the first responders.

The Meduza channel on Telegram recalls that on March 19, Vladimir Putin dismissed warnings from US diplomats about a planned terrorist attack on a crowded facility in Moscow. The Russian leader labelled the American warnings as "blackmail" by the West and an attempt to "intimidate and destabilise our society".
