The first recordings from the scene of the tragedy have appeared online. Due to their graphic nature, we are only sharing some of them.

It is believed there were two explosions inside the building, likely caused by a fire, leading to part of the roof collapsing.

Law enforcement is on the lookout for four masked and armed individuals believed to have fled the crime scene.

Injured victims of the attack received attention from crews of over 70 ambulances.

The shooting occurred just before a concert by the band Picnic. The concert hall at Crocus City Hall was packed. Special services were among the first responders.

Attackers killed at least 40 people and left 100 injured. Firefighters managed to rescue about 100 people from the building's basement.

The Meduza channel on Telegram recalls that on March 19, Vladimir Putin dismissed warnings from US diplomats about a planned terrorist attack on a crowded facility in Moscow. The Russian leader labelled the American warnings as "blackmail" by the West and an attempt to "intimidate and destabilise our society".
