Despite Dani Alves having been convicted for the rape of a young woman, he can still count on the support of his wife, Joana Sanz. The famous model recently shared several vacation photos on her social media. Shortly after that, she removed the one that also featured her husband.

In February of this year, Dani Alves was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. A Spanish court found that the Brazilian had committed rape on a 24-year-old woman in December 2022. This occurred in a nightclub in Barcelona.
Both the prosecutors, demanding a higher sentence, and Alves's lawyers, insisting on his innocence, have filed an appeal against the verdict. On March 25, the former player for teams including Barcelona, was released from custody after paying bail of approximately £880,000 and will await a retrial in freedom. He was prohibited from leaving Spain, and the local authorities seized his passport.
A few days after being released, a photo posted on the Instastories of the player's wife - Joana Sanz caused a significant stir. The woman, followed by over 970,000 internet users, posted a telling photo of her hand intertwined with her husband's, showing that she is still in a relationship with Alves.
Recently, Sanz again caused a stir. The model posted several pictures from a trip to Ibiza on social media. It turned out that Dani Alves also participated in this trip.
One of the photos uploaded by the model showcased the former FC Barcelona player, his back to the camera, standing on a cliff and staring out at the sea. Shortly after, this photo disappeared from her Instastories, and "Mundo Deportivo" suggests it was related to the criticism that fell on Sanz for publicly supporting the convicted rapist Brazilian.

According to Spanish media, Alves must report in Barcelona every Friday to sign documents in person that allow him to remain free. This obligation did not prevent him from taking a several-day trip to Ibiza.
