They’re considered healthier than hard-boiled eggs because they undergo a shorter period of heat treatment, preserving more of their valuable properties. Doctors ensure that eating several eggs daily is safe, dispelling fears about cholesterol. A few years ago, research revealed that eggs only slightly impact cholesterol levels.

How to perfectly cook soft-boiled eggs

A perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg has firm whites and a runny yolk. Enhance its taste with a pinch of salt, and consider adding finely chopped chives or dill. Accompany it with a slice of fresh bread and butter for a delicious and nutritious breakfast. The trick to cooking eggs lies in their freshness, starting with eggs at room temperature to avoid cracking. Place eggs in boiling water with cooking times varying by size: small for about 4 minutes, medium for roughly 5 minutes, and large for approximately 6 minutes. Immediately run cold water over them afterwards to halt the cooking process.
