In critical condition, she was transported to the hospital. Despite their best efforts, doctors were unable to save her life. The 40-year-old passed away.

Interestingly, skydiving is not regarded as the most hazardous sport in terms of the risk of fatalities. Research conducted for Teton Gravity Research in 2022 indicates that only 1 in 100,000 skydiving cases results in death.
A similar risk is associated with cycling (1 in 140,000). More hazardous activities include playing American football (1 in 50,000 cases results in death) or kayaking (risk 1 in 10,000).
