Car attack at Israeli bus stop injures ten in suspected terrorism
In northern Israel, a car drove into people waiting at a bus stop. As a result of the incident, ten individuals were injured. The police arrested the suspect and believe it may have been a terrorist attack.
The incident occurred in the town of Pardes Channa. Ten people were injured, one of whom is in critical condition.
Suspicion of a terrorist attack
The car accelerated and drove into a group of people waiting at the stop, subsequently crashing into a nearby police car. Officers "captured and neutralised" the suspect, identified as a 24-year-old Arab citizen of Israel, reported the police spokesperson. The man had no prior criminal record.
According to information provided by the police, at least one person is in critical condition, and four or five others have sustained moderate or severe injuries. All the injured were taken to a local hospital.
The incident was described by the police as a "possible terrorist attack".
