Laura Woods is a popular British television personality. Fans may recognize her from her appearances on TNT Sports. The 36-year-old has also gained significant fame on social media, with nearly 760,000 followers on her Instagram profile.

Over the weekend, Woods was meant to host a studio show in Saudi Arabia ahead of the much-anticipated fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. However, she ultimately did not participate in the event due to an accident she described on Instagram.

A little update…..but first please don’t swipe if you are sensitive to blood, these are photos of an injury - she wrote on a dark background.

Subsequent photographs show the journalist's bloodied face shortly after the accident, as well as a few shots from the hospital. Woods also explained what had happened to her.

The 36-year-old was spending a short holiday in one of the holiday cottages. She shattered a glass lamp hanging over her bed with a pillow during her stay. The falling glass pieces cut her face and hands. She was transported to the hospital, where doctors removed the glass.

In the next part of her post, Woods thanked her loved ones and managers for their quick support. Ultimately, the journalist showed that she had already learned to joke about the situation and announced her swift return to the television studio.

It was a hell of a shock and I’ve been a bit sad, but I’m feeling very lucky it wasn’t worse. So a big thanks to my eyebrow too, for taking the brunt of it - she wrote, ending the sentence with a playful emoticon.
