The star gained international popularity by appearing alongside his daughter in the Disney series "Hannah Montana". For several years, there has been much discussion about his love life.

The performer of the hit "Achy Breaky Heart" divorced his second wife, Tish Cyrus, in April 2022 and just a few weeks later confirmed his relationship with a country singer nearly three decades younger, Firerose, who performs under the pseudonym. Within five months, the 62-year-old singer proposed to his new beloved, whom he met on the set of the aforementioned series. The dynamic family situation and previous rumours of Billy's infidelity led Miley Cyrus to cut ties with her father completely.

In October 2023, almost a year after their engagement, Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose tied the knot. The couple attended social events, recorded several musical duets, and eagerly shared their passionate relationship on social media. Meanwhile, TMZ reports that the 62-year-old singer recently filed for divorce. In the documents, he cited "irreconcilable differences" and "inappropriate marital misconduct," as well as "fraud," the details of which are not known.

According to TMZ and "People," the star allegedly offered his wife monetary compensation after he threw her out of the house on 24 May. For the first 10 days after her forced move, Firerose reportedly received $500 to secure lodging. For the next 90 days or until the divorce is finalised, the singer is supposedly to receive $5000 per month from Cyrus. Interestingly, just two weeks ago, the artist posted wedding photos and reminded everyone that the ceremony took place six months ago. So far, foreign portals have not been able to obtain an official comment on the divorce reports.
