Amanda Seyfried has been residing on a farm in the northern part of New York State with her husband and two children for several years. After her experiences living in Hollywood and New York City, she decided she needed more tranquillity.
Amanda Seyfried on her private life
In an interview with "Forbes," she admitted, "I moved upstate long before I had a family. Staying here was the best decision for privacy, peace and nature. It offers a more balanced life than the city does."
Although she is still involved in film projects, Seyfried values having a "calm place that she calls home," which helps her adapt to "the faster lifestyle of the city, the high-energy of press events and life on set."
In an interview with *Forbes*, she mentioned that while it was initially a significant challenge for her, life on the farm has become more stimulating. She also noted that visiting the city has turned into a pleasant excursion, as she now looks forward to returning home, where she finds even greater joy in tending to the animals in her muddy boots.
According to "Hollywood Reporter," more and more stars are opting for a quieter life. Jason Segel moved from Los Angeles to Ojai in California, saying that "he realised art should reflect what you're going through, and he wasn’t really going through much in life."
Amanda was recently seen in the acclaimed Hulu series "The Dropout." She also starred in the miniseries "The Crowd." The release of "The Housemaid," based on a popular book, is planned for 2026. The film will be a psychological thriller about a woman who, trying to escape her problems, becomes a housemaid for a wealthy family. However, it turns out that they hide dark secrets that are worse than what the maid has faced before. Sydney Sweeney and Brandon Sklenar are also part of the cast.
