Ben Affleck reveals struggles of life with Jennifer Lopez
Ben Affleck gave a candid interview discussing life with Jennifer Lopez. The actor admitted that going out with his wife is challenging because people go wild when they see her. He still hasn't gotten accustomed to it.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been making tabloid headlines for several weeks. According to foreign press reports, the couple is allegedly struggling with a severe marital crisis. Officially, neither has addressed the divorce rumours. However, the actor's latest interview has shed new light on their relationship.
Ben Affleck on marriage to Jennifer Lopez
The premiere episode of Kevin Hart's talk show featuring Ben Affleck has been released online. The show was recorded several months ago, so the host did not discuss the rumoured divorce from J.Lo. However, the men did talk about the realities of being married to a pop star. The actor did not hide that his wife triggers hysterical reactions among passersby.
People love her, and she really represents something important to people - he said.
Of course, Affleck also enjoys recognition, but fans react to him completely differently.
[To me,] people are like, ‘Hey, I like your movie,’ and then they’re like ‘Aaaaahhh! J.Lo!’ It’s amazing, you know what I mean? - he continued.
Ben Affleck did not mince words
He also recalled a situation they encountered recently in New York. Ben and Jen took the children to a show. Upon exiting the car, they had to walk through Times Square, one of the busiest places in the city. There, fans easily recognised Lopez.
There was a lady, she was smoking weed in a full purple skintight suit — she’s a heavy lady — and she starts running backward filming, going ‘J.Lo!’ Like a herald. - Affleck recalled.
The actor also addressed the fact that he often looks sad in paparazzi photos. His grimaces usually become memes.
I also don’t like a lot of attention. That’s why people see me and they’re like, ‘Why’s this dude always mad?’ Because somebody has their camera and sticks it in my face and I’m like, ‘Okay, here we go.’ - he explained.
Do you think fan hysteria during their outings also contributed to the crisis in their relationship?
