The Ministry of Defence of Belarus announced the conduct of a combat readiness test of the country's armed forces. As reported by the independent portal Zierkało, referring to information provided by the defence ministry in Minsk, the test will examine individual formations and military units.

As the ministry stated, the test is “comprehensive in nature”. "Soldiers will move to designated areas and undergo a series of exercises and training, including live firing," reads the statement.

Further military exercises in Belarus

The Ministry of Defence of Belarus also informed that temporary restrictions on civilian transport may occur due to the movement of military equipment.

In recent years, especially after the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began, military exercises have been regularly conducted in Belarus. A “comprehensive combat readiness test” was reported in October 2023.
