The dog was completely healthy, as the veterinarian confirmed during the last check-up. However, everything started to become complicated after a visit to the groomer. On 14 June, Nicola entrusted her pets to a pet groomer whose services they used occasionally. However, this time, the dogs retrieved after grooming were behaving unusually.

Finally, Nala was handed back, and she immediately started showing symptoms of hyperventilation. The owner reacted immediately, heading to the veterinary clinic, where the chihuahua could not be saved. It turned out that the dog had a very rapid heart rate, neurological problems, and fluid in the lungs before her death.

According to TMZ, Peltz plans to sue the grooming company that caused her pet's death. Nicola’s legal action has nothing to do with money; the dog activist wants to prevent similar tragedies.
