This is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about Netflix series in recent years. "Baby Reindeer" has gained enormous popularity not only because of its terrifying story but also because it is based on actual events. The main character's stalker existed. Now, information has surfaced about her previous victim, a British politician.

"Baby Reindeer," without a doubt, is not an easy series to watch (before one of the episodes, a screen warning of images of sexual violence even appears). However, this did not prevent it from achieving massive success. It is also one of those cases where fiction mixes with reality, and the work has its continuation in "real life."

Despite the clear opposition of the creators, led by Richard Gadd playing himself, internet users started an investigation on their own, wanting to discover the true identities of the "villains" identified in the film: the rapist and the stalker of the main character. It didn't take long for the real-life inspiration for the series Martha to seek attention as she appeared on Piers Morgan's talk show.

Now, reports regarding one of Fiona Harvey's (the real-life counterpart's name) earlier victims have been confirmed. Check out the gallery and learn more about the woman's stalking methods.

According to "The Sun," Keir Starmer, the opposition leader and, since 2020, chairman of the Labour Party, has also come under Harvey's target. The woman allegedly sent him 276 messages over just under eight months, calling him, among other things, a "layabout," "stupid boy," and "useless lawyer," and threatening to file a complaint with the bodies overseeing professional standards. She also attacked his family, commenting on the appearance of Starmer's wife, Victoria, with the words: "God, she looks awful. Awful."

According to the newspaper, the emails were sent between January and August 2020, and each ended with the words "Sent from my iPhone," which became a signature for the character Martha from the Netflix hit. The show pointed out that the woman never used that kind of device. Reportedly, the police are aware of the Starmer case, but neither the authorities nor the politician have issued any statements.

Fiona Harvey denied several segments of the Netflix hit, including the sexual assault on Gadd, throwing punches at his girlfriend, or attacking him over the bar counter. She also said she felt deceived by Piers Morgan, who didn't believe a word; she also thinks the compensation for participating in the show was too low. "We gave her the same amount we give, I would say, 95% of all of our guests. We don’t discuss the terms but we paid for her to have a nice haircut, a car, and everything else," commented the show host.

The miniseries "Baby Reindeer" is available on Netflix.
