American influencer Liver King detained in Poland for carrying ammo

Controversial American influencer Brian Johnson, also known as Liver King, was detained on 29 August at Krakow Airport in Balice. The 46-year-old was about to fly on a private jet to Houston, United States, after a two-week stay in Poland. According to the tvp.info portal, customs officers found ammunition in the celebrity's luggage.
Balice Airport spokeswoman Natalia Vince stated: "I confirm that on Thursday, officers from the Airport Security Service in Balice detected 40 bullets in the hand luggage of an American citizen. The case was handed over to the Border Guard, who initiated appropriate procedures." Liver King's wife, Barbara, has Polish roots, hence the couple's vacation visit to our country.

Liver King committed a crime in Poland
The Carpathian Operational Group of the Border Guard reported that the American citizen was charged under Art. 263 § 2 of the Penal Code (Whoever without the required permit possesses firearms or ammunition is subject to a penalty of imprisonment of 6 months to 8 years). He admitted to the alleged act and refused to provide explanations concerning the committed crime.
Following escort to the prosecutor's office, the influencer declared his willingness to accept the punishment. He received a fine of approximately £1,900 and agreed to cover the costs related to the proceedings. According to tvp.info, US consular services were involved in the matter. On 31 August, Brian Johnson flew back to the United States.
