Amanda Bynes debuted on Nickelodeon at the age of 10. Three years later, she had her own show, where she performed comedic sketches. At that time, she became America's child favourite.

The next stage in Amanda's career was teen comedies. Bynes had roles in productions that many people still remember fondly, such as "Easy A," "She's the Man," and "Sydney White." Over time, however, the media focused more on her private life problems than her professional projects.

Amanda Bynes' career breakdown

Around 2013, Bynes began attacking industry acquaintances on Twitter. In the meantime, increasingly worrying photos taken by paparazzi were appearing online. Amanda appeared intoxicated in these photos, often sporting a wig or other unusual clothing items.

It only later emerged that the former teen idol suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Her struggles with everyday life were also compounded by alcohol and drug addiction. The scandalous working conditions at Nickelodeon were said to have contributed to her "fall". The documentary film "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" revealed that producers were allegedly engaging in the molestation of young actors and other abuses.

Bynes has never returned to acting. She is currently focusing on getting her life back on track. From time to time, she shares updates on social media. For example, she wants to swap on-camera performances for professional nail styling.

Paparazzi occasionally photograph her on the streets of L.A. Recently, Amanda was spotted with a new hairstyle. She traded her light, bleached hair for long black locks. The star's condition seems to have been stable for some time. It looks like the worst is behind her.
