Adele's Journey: From global stardom to personal transformation
Adele is one of the most recognizable pop music stars in the world. With her debut album, the singer, with a unique voice, quickly conquered the charts. As her career accelerated, her personal life did not lack turmoil.
If we ever listen to pop music, there's no way we don't know who she is. Adele, hailing from the United Kingdom, is a vocalist with a unique and unforgettable voice.
The singer's professional career developed at lightning speed. During this time, Adele experienced romantic highs and lows and underwent a huge transformation. She still juggles career and personal life, trying to devote as much time as possible to her son. What kind of relationship does she have with her ex-husband, the boy's father?
Great love and divorce
Adele and Simon Konecki became a couple in 2011. Initially, it seemed they were made for each other. Their relationship caused quite a stir, especially since Simon's surname hinted at Polish ancestry. Although born in the States, media reports claim his father has Polish roots.
The relationship between Adele and Konecki did not withstand the test of time - after eight years, the singer filed for divorce. The marriage resulted in a child, and, for the son's sake, they decided to take a certain step after the breakup.
It is known that Adele moved from the United Kingdom to Los Angeles. To ensure the boy didn't feel his father's absence, Konecki also decided to relocate across the ocean. For a while, the ex-husband lived very close to the singer. However, in 2021, one of the foreign tabloids reported that Simon returned to the United Kingdom, more specifically to Hove, a town near Portsdale, where the office of the charity "Drop4Drop" is located.
Never-ending rumors
The media speculated that the reason for the couple's separation was the man's insufficient contribution to the upkeep and care of the home. Note that Simon Konecki comes from a wealthy family and is the head of the charity organization, which aims to provide drinking water to the world's poorest regions.
Konecki defended himself against the media's attacks, stressing that he did not need money from his ex-wife; yet, online speculations suggested he could have received a substantial sum post-divorce. Before getting involved in charity work, he was a successful investment banker. He took up "Drop4drop" after stacking up a considerable fortune.
Transformation and warnings
The singer lost nearly 50 kg a few years ago, marking one of the most spectacular transformations in show business. In the first photo, "after the transformation," the star is hard to recognize.
Adele slimmed down thanks to the "Sirtfood" diet, based on foods rich in sirtuins, enzymes that regulate aging. The weight loss was a "side effect" of the new diet. Adele's menu included green juices, fish, dates, celery, walnuts, dark chocolate, chili, and green tea. Besides the diet, Adele exercised regularly to maintain her shape.
Adele's diet raised eyebrows among dietitians, who noted how few calories she consumed daily. It was estimated to be as little as 1,000 kcal a day, which is too low.
"The body, wanting to survive, will start to rebel. After a few weeks of such a diet, a noticeable drop in energy is felt. Drastically reducing calories, we become more irritable and noticeably weakened," emphasized nutritionist Dale Pinnock in a conversation with "The Sun".
