Searching for knowledge on the Russian internet. They turn to fortune-tellers. With the belief that someone could indeed know something about the future, citizens of the Russian Federation want to know the truth about the moment of their leader's death.

Russians are increasingly turning to fortune-tellers, seeking answers about Putin's death date. The number of searches for predictions about the end of the war has increased in search engines.

Predicting the future.

According to the Ukrainian service Kanal24, there is an increasing demand for fortune-tellers' services in Russia. Russian opposition journalists indicate a growing interest in esotericism, especially one thread of this belief in possibilities.

When will the war end? Russians want to know

This concerns knowledge of the war's future. Russians want to know the date when the military actions will end. They also ask fortune-tellers about Vladimir Putin's fate and even—quite openly—about the date of the dictator's death.

Kanal24 reports that fortune-tellers are not the only ones talking about the increased demand for answers to such questions. According to Yandex statistics, in 2024, the number of requests for predictions and magic related to the war peaked.

Russians are looking for experts in reading tarot cards to learn about the fate of loved ones on the front line. The increased demand is visible in the number of advertisements that appear in public spaces.

Fortune-tellers' ads can be found in Russian marketplaces and online. Sisters, girlfriends, and soldiers' wives are eager to use magical services. Most of them are seeking "protection" for their loved ones.

Kanal24 notes that many Russians are convinced that Putin will end the war only when he reaches Kyiv. Others, however, have a different vision. They believe that since the war is in Putin's political interest, he will fight until the end of his life, hence the questions to fortune-tellers about his death.
